We were approached to create the brand identity for an e-commerce start-up based in Berlin. The chocolate subscription model introduces people to monthly exciting flavours from around the world.
The starting point for the creation of the brand was a modern-day Marie-Antoinette.
We created a lifestyle-focused brand, inspired by ideals of women prioritising themselves and taking time to enjoy the delicious pleasures Culinary Tales deliver.
Diving into one of France’s most iconic queens, we imagined what her world would be like in our present day. As a result, we created a modern tale in which a strong, independent woman chooses herself over other people’s trivialities — she takes care of herself and enjoys life to its fullest!
As it’s a person and lifestyle focused brand, we were inspired by imagery set in fancy lavish settings.. Women with aspirational lifestyles, while prince charming (if she wants one..) waits at her service.
We took inspiration from classic fairy tales and folklore, creating a recurring magical character — the unicorn — in the style of a luxury fashion house, giving the brand a feeling of opulence sprinkled with magic.
The Weiter team guided us throughout the brand development process, from start to end. We realised that understanding our brand was key to knowing how our business can be successful.
