Words and designs by Orwell McG.

I help music and sports brands find their fans, get funded and grow their business by clearly communicating value through the words they use and the way they look.

Animalia

I really enjoyed working with Weiter. They were able to guide us and work with us to help develop our brand and our voice. We gathered various data from our supporters and customers, which then has shaped our organisation moving forward. Their understanding, expertise and organisation has left us in a better place.

Tony O’Neil, Founder
For Scottish fightwear brand Animalia we designed a multichannel marketing campaign to promote the launch of their line of fight ready clothing. We shot photos with two of the brand’s ambassadors, two world champion kick boxers, and transformed the photos in the ads for posters, billboards and social media.

We managed the brand’s website for the launch, writing brand copy, designing point of sale and managing the shop.

Crafting a sleek identity for a mysterious brand world

Spectre

Spectre

This was a wide project involving naming the company, brand identity, icons, documents and team clothing designs.

The name Spectre was a moment of inspiration on my part. The word suited the feel the owners wanted from the brand“ sleek, cool feel with an air of mystery and the connotations of being ghosts, in the background, making clients web products work, made the name perfect for the brand.

I used Courier New to give the feel of a top secret document written out on a typewriter. The codebreaker animation was a fun addition.

At the time Spectre were a values led business delivering a range or services. They needed a way to explain those values and services without reams of text or boring clichés.

The icons became a key to show what services had been enlisted to deliver a project. They appeared on the website, in sales brochures and in proposals, a little part of the brand language showing viewers how things work in Spectre’s brand world.
