I’m Orwell, a brand and strategy director based in Berlin.

I work with brands, founders and businesses worldwide to create bold unapologetic designs and clear strategy. In a world of trends and AI slop, I take a personal approach, delivering design and copy that feels timeless, soulful and connected to our shared culture.

For 15 years I’ve challenged businesses and decision-makers to push beyond their expectations to create brands that engage and excite.

In my career I’ve been lucky enough to make an impact all over the world. I saved Doctors Without Borders’ global innovation fund, delivered the highest ever attendance to SciDays London and designed the branding that launched HOT’s worldwide unSummit.  

I created a deaf/blind accessible brand that increased interaction across all channels for deafscotland, delivered the strategy that sold out YES’s Pathways Programme in record time and led a rebrand that helped Scottish Engineering to their first positive income in five years.

Beginning my life in design creating posters and merch for friends’ bands and club nights, I’ve come full circle, combining that DIY energy with years of hands-on strategic experience to support today’s founders, dreamers and creators.
