The music industry is lame. Crusty old men in glass and steel palaces make decisions by spreadsheet while talent is left to die. Independent artists are alone, crying out for support, desperate for the certainty of expertise to help make their dream a reality.

I was asked to create a brand that would get B3M in the imagination of Berlin’s musicians so they know where to turn for expertise and collaboration in marketing their music.

I developed the brand, creating a powerful brand concept and visual identity to appeal Berlin’s musicians – from underground producers to emerging talent – and show them where they can access practical insights, build relationships and grow their reputation to create a successful career in music.

The core of the experience at Coorie Café in Edinburgh is the ceremony of brewing and drinking tea. To create the branding we drew inspiration from the elegance of Japanese art and the serene atmosphere of traditional tea ceremonies. Crafting a cohesive visual identity, We designed the branding to reflect this tranquil aesthetic throughout the café.

Along with the owners we created a brand manifesto, a poem reflecting the welcome and openness Coorie want to show to all who visit.

Each element of the branding, from the illustrations to the posters designed to be hung on the café walls, harmoniously blended Japanese motifs with contemporary design, creating a welcoming and serene ambiance.

A collection of designs I’ve created for club night, DJs and ravers including shirts, posters and stickers.

For this work I create in the style that I feel in that moment, adapting my approach to suit the feeling I’m creating. When I’m out dancing, I’m most likely wearing a shirt I designed myself.

Orwell was great to work with and we were probably not the easiest customers – we were asking him to put together branding, merchandise and promo materials for an important pilot programme that we were still in the process of developing.

The process he took us through not only resulted in a solid package of designs and assets that served the programme well, but it actually helped us to better understand and articulate the underlying concept internally and externally.

Aside from being a fantastic designer, what I really enjoy about working with him is the empathy, honesty and can-do attitude that he consistently brings to projects. Highly recommended.

The HOT unSummit is a world tour of collaborating events centring around humanitarian open-street mapping. HOT’s aim was to raise the profile of humanitarian mapping across the globe, by connecting people, providing funding and support to conferences and community mapping events.

The aim was to create a brand that didn’t feel like it was from any one region but was a celebration of mapping across the globe. We created branding, animations, a launch video and merch to promote the event. The brand reached thousands of people across five continents and was so successful the unSummit concept remains until this day.

I created an ethical clothing brand ClydeBuilt as a passion project, designing and printing t-shirts. It developed into a way to design, create and connect that culminated in a collaborative exhibition and a series of parties in Glasgow.

I designed the brand to feel like Glasgow and to look right at home in the Subby. I created every element and touch-point. I designed the branding, printed the shirts, built the website, directed the photo shoots and designed the social media and marketing campaigns.
Both lines I released sold out.

For Project Petrichor, our branding design project was an ode to nature’s healing embrace. Drawing inspiration from the serene landscapes of Scotland, we crafted a hand-drawn logo evoking the essence of tranquillity and self-discovery. This bespoke emblem reflects the company’s mission of providing personalized retreats aimed at reconnecting individuals with their inner selves amidst the beauty of nature.

The hand-drawn logo serves as the heart of Project Petrichor’s branding, symbolizing authenticity and individuality. Applied to clothing, tents, and camping gear, it transforms everyday essentials into tokens of adventure and introspection. Whether embarking on a wilderness retreat or simply embracing the outdoors, Project Petrichor’s branding acts as a guiding beacon, inviting individuals to immerse themselves fully in the transformative journey of self-discovery amidst Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes.

We created a logo, posters and marketing for Zidane boxing. The logo was designed to give a feeling of success and accomplishment, using bold typography and clean lines.

We created the tagline Awaken the Gladiator and used it across the brand, applying it to posters and merch. Through the branding, Zidane Boxing established a distinct identity within the fitness industry, appealing to people seeking a disciplined and results-oriented training environment.
